(1) How many spots open up yearly at the top ~15 PE funds?
It seems to me that everyone is gunning for these positions, and only a handful will actually get them.
(2) On a similar note, how many top-tier candidates go into PE recruiting every year?
I would imagine that these include 2nd year analysts from GS /MS/ BX /GHL/LZR/EVR/MLS ( JPM ?)
(3) Out of the guys who fill top PE spots, what percentage actually comes from these top firms?
